Part-Time Restaurant Manager in Alta, Norway


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in Alta, Norway on a part-time basis. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our establishment and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant including staffing, scheduling, inventory, and budgeting
- Train and supervise staff to maintain high levels of customer service and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain our standards of excellence
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items and specials
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing for ingredients and supplies
- Create marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Oversee daily financial transactions including cash handling, invoicing, and reporting

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
- Proven track record of increasing profitability through effective management techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English (Norwegian is a plus)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Knowledge of restaurant software systems (e.g. POS)
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree in Hospitality Management is preferred)
