Mason: Construction and Repair Specialist for a Growing Company in Eldoret, Kenya

We are a dynamic company specializing in construction and repair services, located in Eldoret, Kenya. We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both construction and repair projects, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all types of masonry work including bricklaying, plastering, tiling, and concrete work
- Read and interpret blueprints to plan layout and installation of structures
- Mix mortar or grout according to established formulas
- Use hand tools such as hammers, chisels, levels, saws, drills, and trowels
- Cut or break bricks or other materials to size using hammer or masonry saw
- Repair existing structures by patching cracks or replacing damaged bricks or stones

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mason in construction and repair projects
- Proven ability to read blueprints and follow plans accurately
- Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in masonry work
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or apprenticeship in masonry trade
- Experience with biometric passport installation is a plus
