Back-End Developer



We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to join our team in Vilnius. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient, scalable, and secure server-side applications. Your primary focus will be developing and maintaining the core logic of our software, ensuring seamless integration with front-end elements. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical issues and contribute to the overall improvement of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Identify technical issues in existing systems and propose solutions
- Ensure the security and scalability of server-side applications
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
- Contribute to the development of new features and functionalities
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in back-end technologies

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Proficient in at least one modern back-end programming language (e.g. Java, Python)
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML5, CSS3) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. AngularJS)
- Knowledge of web servers (e.g. Apache) and cloud technologies (e.g. AWS)
- Understanding of security principles and best practices for back-end development
- Experience with version control tools (e.g. Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
