Head Chef
As a Head Chef at our high-end restaurant in Lom, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen and ensuring the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences to our guests. This position requires a highly skilled and passionate individual with a strong understanding of food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Create and update menus in collaboration with management
- Manage inventory and ordering of food supplies
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain kitchen equipment and cleanliness
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Handle any issues or complaints in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Creativity in menu planning and presentation
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine preferred
- Fluent English speaking skills required
Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1500 per month.
