Executive Chef
We are seeking a skilled Executive Chef to join our team in Ashdod, a vibrant city in Israel. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus that meet the preferences and dietary needs of our diverse customer base
- Source high-quality ingredients from local suppliers and maintain inventory levels
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, prep chefs, and dishwashers
- Monitor food preparation to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant managers to create promotional menus for special events or holidays
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings
- Manage food costs by creating efficient recipes and minimizing waste
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in English is required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
