Gardener (Contract with Accommodation) - Eldoret, Kenya


We are seeking a skilled Gardener to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining the gardens and outdoor spaces of our company's property. This is a contract position with accommodation provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Planting, watering, pruning and fertilizing various plants and trees
- Maintaining lawn and garden areas by mowing, weeding and edging
- Identifying and treating plant diseases and pests
- Managing irrigation systems and ensuring proper water usage
- Operating gardening equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers
- Keeping outdoor spaces clean and organized
- Assisting with landscaping projects as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Gardener or similar role
- Knowledge of different plant species, their care requirements and common diseases/pests
- Physically fit to handle manual labor in various weather conditions
- Ability to operate gardening equipment safely and efficiently
- Good time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to work on a contract basis with accommodation provided
- Fluency in English is preferred but not required

Salary:
This is a contract position with a monthly salary of 1800$. Accommodation will be provided by the company.
