Chef de Cuisine



We are seeking an experienced and innovative Chef de Cuisine to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Hawalli, Kuwait. As the head chef, your main responsibility will be to oversee all aspects of food preparation and ensure the quality and consistency of all dishes served.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus in collaboration with the restaurant manager
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on recipes, techniques, and safety protocols
- Monitor inventory levels and order ingredients as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Develop new dishes that align with current food trends and customer preferences

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role in a high-end restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of dishes during busy periods
- Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with new flavors and presentations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred but not required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a chef, preferably in fine dining establishments
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Arabic is an advantage)
- Indian nationality preferred due to our clientele but open to other nationalities as well

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package starting at 1700$ per month, depending on experience. Other benefits include accommodation, transportation, medical insurance, annual leave, and airfare allowance.
