Head Chef

As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and leading a team of chefs to create high-quality dishes. Your main duties will include menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently. You should have strong leadership skills and be able to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and plan menus based on seasonal ingredients
- Oversee food preparation and ensure all dishes are of a high standard
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including assigning tasks and providing feedback
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Monitor food costs and make necessary adjustments to maintain profitability
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new dishes and specials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month.
