Industrial Alpinist Assistant

We are seeking a physically fit and safety-conscious Industrial Alpinist Assistant to join our team in Svalbard. As an Industrial Alpinist Assistant, you will assist experienced industrial alpinists in performing maintenance, repairs, and installations on hard-to-reach structures such as bridges, towers, and buildings. Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in setting up ropes and rigging systems for accessing structures
- Carrying tools and equipment up and down structures
- Performing basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning and painting
- Observing safety protocols at all times
- Assisting with the installation of equipment or materials on structures
- Communicating effectively with team members and following instructions from experienced alpinists
- Maintaining a high level of physical fitness to perform tasks at heights

Requirements:
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights (without fear of heights)
- Basic knowledge of rope access techniques preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced alpinists
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Availability for urgent jobs if needed (may require working outside of regular hours)
- No prior experience required, but previous experience in construction or similar field is a plus

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
