Junior Merchandiser
The Junior Merchandiser will be responsible for assisting in the planning, development, and execution of product strategies for our company in Bergen. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of market trends and consumer behavior. Responsibilities:
- Assist senior merchandisers in creating product assortments based on market trends and consumer demand
- Collaborate with design, production, and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of products
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential new products or trends
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
- Assist with visual merchandising in store displays and online platforms
- Communicate with suppliers and negotiate prices to ensure best value for the company
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, sales, and inventory data
- Manage relationships with existing suppliers and source new suppliers as needed
- Stay updated on industry developments, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, fashion merchandising, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ years experience in retail or fashion merchandising preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and consumer behavior
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Bergen.

Note:
Candidates must have their own visa or be eligible to work in Bergen. This is not an entry-level position and is not suitable for freshers.
