Entry Level Information Security Analyst

As an Entry Level Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information and systems within our company. You will work closely with the security team to monitor and analyze security events, identify potential threats or vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate controls to mitigate risk. This role is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to begin a career in information security.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor security events and investigate any potential threats or breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems
- Assist with the implementation of security controls and procedures to safeguard sensitive information
- Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Assist with incident response and disaster recovery efforts when necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security tools such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and problem solve
- Attention to detail and ability to follow established processes and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
