Machine Operator


We are currently hiring a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various types of machinery to produce high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment and possess strong mechanical skills.

Responsibilities:
- Set up machinery and ensure all materials are readily available for production
- Operate various types of machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, etc.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing or production setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
