Architectural Designer


We are hiring an experienced Architectural Designer to join our team in Alta, Norway. As an Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for creating and designing innovative and functional architectural plans for various projects. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects while adhering to budget and timeline constraints. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per week without accommodation. Visa sponsorship is available for non-Norwegian candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Create detailed architectural plans for residential and commercial buildings
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure design feasibility
- Use software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp to create 2D/3D models of designs
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project progress
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in architectural design
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Architectural Designer
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software
- Strong understanding of design principles, construction techniques, building materials, etc.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations preferred
