Skilled Welder


We are in need of a skilled welder to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures, equipment, and machinery by using various welding techniques. This is an urgent job opportunity that offers a salary of 900$ per week without accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications in order to determine the appropriate welding process
- Set up and operate welding equipment including gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), and flux-cored arc welding (FCAW)
- Ensure proper fitment and alignment of parts before welding
- Monitor the welding process to avoid overheating or warping of materials
- Inspect completed welds for strength and quality assurance
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a welder in a professional setting
- Proficient with various welding techniques including GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, and FCAW
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions for extended periods of time
- Must have a valid biometric passport for international travel
