Radio Technician for English-Speaking Radio Station in Nairobi

We are a well-established radio station in Nairobi, Kenya looking for a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment and systems used in broadcasting. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month, and includes accommodation, free visa, and ticket.

Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Radio Technician
- Strong knowledge of radio broadcasting equipment and systems
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing technical issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and fluency in English

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair all radio equipment used in broadcasting
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly for on-air broadcasts
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in the field
