Machine Operator



As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery in a manufacturing setting. Your main duty will be to ensure the efficient and safe operation of machines, while also monitoring their performance and making necessary adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of machinery, including but not limited to lathes, drills, saws, and grinders
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality output
- Inspect finished products for defects and follow quality control procedures
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and perform basic repairs when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any issues or concerns

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus
- Previous experience as a machine operator is preferred but not required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is an asset
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks
- Must have own transportation to travel to the job site

This position offers a competitive salary of $1100 per month. Accommodation will not be provided, so it is preferred that candidates are already located in Bergen or have plans for housing in place. This job is suitable for men who are physically capable of performing the required tasks.
