Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine the exact locations and measurements of boundaries, land features, and other natural or man-made structures. You will use specialized equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and digital levels to collect data and create accurate maps and reports.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using various surveying techniques and equipment
- Collect data on land features, boundaries, and other structures using total stations, GPS receivers, and digital levels
- Analyze data to determine accurate measurements and create detailed maps
- Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Ensure that all survey work is conducted in compliance with local regulations and standards
- Maintain accurate records of survey data and reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in land surveying (experience with topographical or boundary surveys preferred)
- Proficiency in using total stations, GPS receivers, digital levels, and other surveying equipment
- Strong mathematical skills for calculating measurements and distances
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Effective communication skills for working with clients and team members
Salary:
$1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location:
Bungoma, Kenya. This position is open to all nationalities.
Other:
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level candidate looking to gain experience in the field of land surveying. Training will be provided for candidates without prior experience. Fluency in English is preferred but not required. Biometric passport is necessary for travel purposes.
