Electrical Engineer - Contract Position (Bergen, Norway)



Our reputable engineering firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in the beautiful city of Bergen, Norway. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and overseeing the installation of electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new electrical systems for various projects
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for proposed designs
- Create detailed engineering plans, specifications, and drawings using computer-assisted design (CAD) software
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation or operation
- Collaborate with other engineers to ensure all aspects of a project are in line with electrical requirements
- Conduct inspections and tests on completed projects to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in electrical engineering
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and materials
- Proficient in using CAD software for designing and drafting
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or equivalent
- Experience working on large-scale projects

Salary: 1500$ per month

This is a contract position with accommodation provided. Candidates must have their own valid visa for working in Norway.
