Executive Chef - Balzers, Liechtenstein
We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in Balzers, Liechtenstein. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu creation, food preparation, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and high-quality dishes using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1200 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus in collaboration with the hotel management team
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high quality standards are maintained
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed
- Collaborate with other departments to plan events and special menus
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures where possible
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a fine dining establishment
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent English language skills; knowledge of German or Italian is a plus
