Entry-Level Typesetter in Alta, Norway



We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Typesetter to join our publishing team in Alta, Norway. As an entry-level role, this position offers an excellent opportunity for freshers to gain hands-on experience in the publishing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design and layout, as well as proficiency in typography and typesetting software.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with editors and designers to produce high-quality layouts for print and digital publications
- Format text, images, and graphics according to established style guidelines
- Proofread materials to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Communicate with publishers and printers to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Stay updated on industry trends and software updates

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Knowledge of typography principles and typesetting techniques preferred
