DevOps Developer

We are seeking a talented and ambitious DevOps Developer to join our dynamic team in Akron. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our infrastructure, automation processes, and deployment pipelines. You will also work closely with our development team to ensure efficient and secure software delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automation processes for software deployment
- Monitor and improve system stability, performance, and security
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth integration of new features
- Troubleshoot issues in development, test, and production environments
- Manage cloud infrastructure and implement cost optimization strategies
- Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient software delivery
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in DevOps

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash or Perl
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus or Nagios
- Familiarity with source control systems like Git
- Experience working in a DevOps role
