Unity Game Developer



As a Unity Game Developer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing gameplay features and mechanics in Unity. You will work closely with the game design team to bring their vision to life and ensure a high-quality gaming experience for players. Your responsibilities will include developing code, debugging, optimizing performance, and collaborating with artists and other developers. This position requires strong knowledge of Unity, C#, and object-oriented programming principles. You must also have experience working with game engines, designing game systems, and implementing user interfaces. This is an urgent job based in Jerusalem, open to Canadians with no English proficiency requirements.

Salary: $1400 per month

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the game design team to understand project requirements and develop gameplay features accordingly
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C# for use in Unity
- Debug code and resolve any technical issues that may arise during development
- Optimize game performance for different platforms
- Work closely with artists to integrate visual assets into the game
- Implement user interface elements such as menus, HUDs, and controls
- Test and fine-tune gameplay mechanics to ensure a smooth player experience
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies related to game development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of Unity game engine
- Proficiency in C# programming language
- Experience working with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Passion for gaming and ability to think creatively about gameplay mechanics

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing mobile games using Unity engine
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Blender or Maya
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
