Preservation Architect
As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures. Your main duties will include conducting site visits and surveys, preparing preservation plans and reports, and overseeing restoration projects. You will also collaborate with other professionals such as engineers, historians, and contractors to ensure the proper preservation of these landmarks.
To excel in this role, you must have a degree in architecture with a focus on historic preservation or a related field. You should also have at least 3 years of experience working on preservation projects. Strong knowledge of building materials and techniques used in different historical periods is essential. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are also important for this position.
This is a full-time job that offers a salary of $1500 per month, along with accommodation. The ideal candidate should be an Indian national who is fluent in English. This position is located in Akron but may require occasional travel to different cities within the country.
