Interpreter - English/Spanish (Os, Norway)


We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Interpreter who is fluent in both English and Spanish to join our team in Os, Norway. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services for our clients in various settings such as meetings, conferences, and events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide simultaneous interpretation from English to Spanish and vice versa during meetings, conferences, and events.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and professionalism while interpreting.
- Adapt to different subject matters and tones of voice in order to convey the intended message accurately.
- Provide cultural context for better understanding between parties.
- Take notes and summarize discussions when necessary.
- Research terminology and concepts to ensure accurate interpretation.
- Adhere to confidentiality guidelines at all times.

Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Proven experience as an interpreter, preferably in a business setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information accurately.
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and the ability to adapt accordingly.
- Excellent note-taking skills with the ability to summarize discussions quickly.
- Knowledge of specific terminology related to various industries.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if needed.

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Interpretation or a related field is preferred but not required. Certification or training in interpretation is a plus.

Salary:
We offer a highly competitive salary of 1100$ per week for full-time employment. Benefits package includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.

Location:
This position is based in Os, Norway. Candidates must either be local or willing to relocate at their own expense. Remote work options may be available depending on the situation.
