Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Ajman. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff. You should have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, with strong leadership skills and a passion for creating innovative and high-quality dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that reflect our restaurant's concept and appeal to our target audience
- Oversee food preparation to ensure high quality and consistency
- Train and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality
- Collaborate with restaurant management to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu design
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and international cuisines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Good communication skills in English (Nepali language proficiency is a plus)
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
