Our library in Utena is seeking a skilled and dedicated Librarian to join our team. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research and locating materials, and promoting literacy and reading culture within the community.

Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and locating materials within the library
- Develop and implement programs to promote literacy and reading within the community
- Create displays and promotions to highlight new or interesting materials in the library
- Manage the library's budget for purchasing new materials
- Train volunteers or assistants on proper library procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
- Proficient in using library software systems for cataloging and circulation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Contract Benefits:
This is a 1-year contract position offering a salary of 1600$ per month. Accommodation will be provided by the library along with visa sponsorship for international candidates.
