We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Utena, Lithuania. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials. Your main duties will include cataloging and classifying materials, assisting patrons with research inquiries and book recommendations, and maintaining the library's online catalog system.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials
- Create catalog entries for new materials and update existing records as needed
- Classify materials according to the Dewey Decimal System or other classification systems
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and book recommendations
- Manage the library's online catalog system and ensure its accuracy
- Process interlibrary loan requests from other libraries
- Plan and host events such as book clubs or author readings to promote literacy and engage with the community

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency in Lithuanian is a plus)
- Familiarity with online catalog systems and computer proficiency
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1000$ per month.
