Formworker - City of Alta, Norway



Our construction company in the beautiful city of Alta, Norway is seeking an experienced Formworker to join our team. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling various types of formwork for concrete structures. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$, suitable for men.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine formwork requirements
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications
- Assemble and install various types of formwork, including traditional wooden forms, prefabricated forms, and metal forms
- Pour concrete into forms and smooth out the surface using hand or power tools
- Strip forms after concrete has set and clean up work area
- Inspect formwork for defects or damage and repair as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Formworker in the construction industry
- Proficient in reading blueprints and construction plans
- Strong knowledge of different types of formwork materials and techniques
- Excellent measurement skills and ability to use hand/power tools safely
- Physically fit and able to work at heights or in confined spaces if required
