Shaper - Mombasa, Kenya

As a Shaper, you will be responsible for shaping and smoothing various materials such as wood, metal, or plastic to create precise and accurate surfaces. You will use a variety of hand and power tools to shape the materials according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Select appropriate tools and techniques for shaping materials
- Use hand tools such as chisels, planes, and files to shape materials by hand
- Operate power tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and grinders to shape materials
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of shapes by constantly measuring and checking dimensions
- Smooth rough surfaces using sandpaper or other finishing tools
- Maintain tools in good condition by cleaning and sharpening them regularly

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Shaper or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different types of materials and their properties
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow specifications accurately
- Skilled in using both hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Attention to detail with a high level of precision in work
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary

Salary: 1200 USD per month

This is a full-time position that is open to Indian nationals who are currently residing in Mombasa. No English language skills are required for this job. Biometric passport is preferred but not mandatory. We welcome freshers who are eager to learn and develop their skills in this field.
