English Language Tutor

We are hiring an enthusiastic and dedicated English Language Tutor to join our team in Jerusalem. As a tutor, you will be responsible for teaching English to students of all ages and proficiency levels. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$, including accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons to individual students or small groups
- Create personalized learning plans based on the needs and goals of each student
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help students improve their language skills
- Use a variety of teaching methods, materials, and resources to make lessons interesting and interactive
- Organize educational activities, such as debates or presentations, to encourage student participation
- Assess student performance through quizzes, exams, and other evaluations
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress towards learning objectives
- Collaborate with other tutors or teachers to share ideas and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English language or related field
- Previous experience as an English language tutor or teacher preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different learners
- Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for helping students learn
- Knowledge of second language acquisition theories and teaching techniques
- Familiarity with virtual teaching platforms is a plus
