We are looking for a skilled Turner to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to produce precision metal parts. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1400$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders to determine specifications and tooling instructions
- Set up and operate lathes, grinders, milling machines, and other machine tools to perform precision machining operations
- Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of parts
- Inspect finished parts for defects and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the machining process
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Turner or similar role
- Proficiency in using various machine tools and measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read technical drawings
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with biometric passport machines is a plus
- Knowledge of Indian manufacturing industry is an advantage
