Job Title: Data Mining Analyst
Location: Bergen, Norway


We are seeking a highly skilled Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting, cleaning and analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and trends. You will also be responsible for developing data mining models and algorithms to support business decisions and strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with data mining tools and techniques, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Extract data from various sources and perform data cleansing
- Analyze large datasets using statistical methods to identify patterns and trends
- Develop data mining models and algorithms to support business decisions
- Communicate findings and insights to key stakeholders
- Collaborate with other teams to identify opportunities for data mining
- Continuously monitor performance of data mining models and make recommendations for improvements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data mining or a related field
- Proficient in SQL, R or Python for querying databases and analyzing data
- Experience with data mining tools such as SAS, SPSS or RapidMiner
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings in a clear manner
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

Contract Job:
This is a contract position with the potential for extension based on performance.

Experience Required:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in data mining or a related field is required for this position.
