Restaurant Manager - Bergen, Norway
We are in search of an experienced and skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing the staff.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations including food preparation, service, and inventory management
- Ensure high quality customer service is maintained at all times
- Recruit, train and manage staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient team
- Create schedules and assign tasks to staff members
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards according to health codes
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the chef to develop menu items and specials
- Manage finances including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures
Requirements:
- Experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Biometric passport required for international travel opportunities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
