Data Analyst
We are in need of a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team in Svalbard. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that will drive business decisions. You must have strong analytical skills and be proficient in data analysis tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and clean large sets of data from various sources
- Develop and maintain databases for efficient data storage and retrieval
- Use statistical methods to analyze data and identify patterns, trends, correlations, and insights
- Create visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions
- Continuously monitor data quality to ensure accuracy and completeness
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Proficient in SQL and other programming languages (Python, R)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and interpret large datasets
- Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Salary: $1500 per month
Working Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
