Preservation Architect in Izhevsk


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Izhevsk. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, while also ensuring that they meet modern building codes and standards. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of architectural techniques and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed surveys of historical buildings and structures to assess their condition
- Developing preservation plans and strategies for the restoration of these buildings
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to oversee the restoration process
- Ensuring that all work is carried out according to local regulations and guidelines
- Conducting research on historical buildings to inform restoration decisions
- Utilizing specialized tools and techniques for preservation work, such as laser scanning and 3D modeling
- Communicating with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies about the preservation process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in preservation architecture
- Strong knowledge of architectural history, theory, principles, practices, methods, materials, tools, equipment
- Experience working with historical buildings or structures
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Excellent project management skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp or other relevant software
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Willingness to relocate to Izhevsk

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500$ per month.
