Carpenter - Mombasa, Kenya


We are seeking skilled and experienced carpenters to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. You will also be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and following building plans to ensure accuracy in the construction process.

Requirements:
- Must be from Pakistan or Nepal
- At least 3 years of experience as a Carpenter
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Skilled in using hand and power tools
- Knowledge of woodworking techniques and safety practices
- Physically fit to perform job duties

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to blueprints or instructions
- Cut, shape, and smooth materials using hand or power tools
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, doors, etc.
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged wood pieces or fixing any structural issues
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine materials needed for each project
- Follow building plans accurately to ensure precise construction of structures
- Maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols at all times
