Elevator Installer - Contract Position in Os, Norway



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Elevator Installer to join our team on a contract basis in Os, Norway. As an Elevator Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators and related equipment. You must have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in elevator installation and hold relevant certifications. Responsibilities:
- Install new elevators according to building plans and specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance on existing elevators to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with elevators or related equipment
- Inspect elevators for safety compliance and make necessary adjustments
- Communicate with clients regarding any issues or repairs needed
- Keep accurate records of all work performed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Elevator Installer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to read building plans and technical diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CEA/CET/EI Certifications)
- Good communication skills in English (Norwegian proficiency is a plus)
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment
