Contract Architectural Technologist - Alta, Canada



We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Architectural Technologist for a contract position in the beautiful city of Alta, Canada. As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting architects and engineers in the design, development, and construction of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to create detailed drawings and plans for building projects
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce accurate and precise technical drawings
- Conduct on-site visits to assess progress of construction projects and make necessary adjustments to designs
- Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and other project expenses
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their expectations
- Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met within budget constraints

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Architectural Technologist
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
