Excavator Operator

We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Alta, Norway. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate and move materials on construction sites. You will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing the equipment as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator to dig trenches, foundations, and other areas as needed
- Load and unload materials using the excavator
- Ensure safe operation of the equipment at all times
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations on the job site
- Communicate effectively with other team members to coordinate tasks

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Excavator Operator required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
- Knowledge of different types of excavators and their capabilities
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
