Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine


We are in search of an experienced Executive Chef with a passion for Indian cuisine to join our team in Sofia. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, authentic Indian dishes.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and create innovative and authentic Indian menus in collaboration with the restaurant management
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food quality and service
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to maintain cleanliness and functionality
- Collaborate with restaurant management to create seasonal menu changes and special event menus
- Maintain accurate records of food costs, inventory, and menu planning

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Proven track record of creating authentic Indian dishes with a modern twist
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food cost control methods and inventory management
- Ability to adapt to changing menus and work schedules as needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $900 per month based on experience, as well as opportunities for growth within the company.

Location:
This position is located in Sofia, Bulgaria. Applicants from India are preferred but not required.
