Head Chef - Indian Cuisine



We are seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to lead our Indian cuisine team at our restaurant in Sofia. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and managing the menu, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring the highest quality of dishes are served to our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and authentic Indian dishes that reflect the restaurant's concept and style
- Develop and maintain a high standard of food quality and presentation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency in taste and presentation
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in the kitchen
- Develop new menu items based on seasonal ingredients or customer feedback
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, pricing, and promotions for Indian cuisine offerings
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in an Indian cuisine restaurant
- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, flavors, cooking techniques, and traditional dishes
- Creative flair to develop new dishes while staying true to traditional recipes
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff effectively
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory, costs, and menu development simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food quality
- Familiarity with health codes and regulations for food handling safety

Education/Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in an Indian cuisine restaurant

1700$ per month
