Senior Accountant


We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Washington. As a senior member of the accounting department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial activities of the company. This is a full-time position with a salary of $900 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, GL, and payroll
- Prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly basis
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Manage and mentor junior accounting staff
- Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software such as Quickbooks or SAP
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred:
- CPA certification or equivalent
- Experience working in a multinational company
- Knowledge of IFRS standards
