Merchandising Assistant


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Merchandising Assistant in Las Vegas to join our growing team. As a Merchandising Assistant, you will work closely with the Merchandising Manager to forecast and track inventory, analyze sales data, and assist with product selection and placement. This is a contract position suitable for someone without previous experience, making it perfect for students or recent graduates looking to gain valuable skills in the retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with forecasting and tracking inventory levels to ensure appropriate stock levels
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for product selection and placement
- Conduct research on competitor offerings and market trends to inform product decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including purchasing, marketing, and sales to ensure product availability and visibility
- Assist with managing vendor relationships and negotiating pricing
- Monitor performance of merchandise categories and make adjustments as needed
- Prepare reports on sales data, inventory levels, and product performance for management review

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Salary:
Salary for this position is $1300 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Las Vegas, however we are open to candidates from Egypt who speak English fluently.
