Database Administrator


Our company is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Vianden. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's database systems. Your main duties will include designing, implementing, and monitoring databases, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement database structures and data storage solutions
- Monitor database performance and ensure data integrity
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
- Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration of databases with other systems
- Develop and maintain documentation of database processes and procedures
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in database management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in database administration or related role
- Strong knowledge of SQL language and relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience with database design, optimization, backup/recovery procedures, and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications in database administration (e.g. Microsoft Certified Database Administrator)
- Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Experience working with large datasets

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $1100 per month.
