Junior Barista (Alta, Norway)


We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Junior Barista to join our team at a bustling coffee shop in Alta, Norway. As a Junior Barista, you will be responsible for serving top-quality coffee and other beverages to our customers while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to company standards
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Welcome customers with a warm and friendly attitude, taking their orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide recommendations on drinks and pastries based on customer preferences
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash-handling procedures
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and allergens
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients, supplies, and merchandise
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and drink preparation
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in barista skills is a plus
- Previous experience as a Barista is not required but preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1500$ per month along with opportunities for growth within the company. We also offer visa sponsorship for international candidates. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide accommodation at this time.
