Pastry Chef at Utena Hotel
Utena Hotel is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods for our hotel's restaurant and events. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to develop new menu items and ensure quality and consistency in all pastry offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to recipes and hotel standards
- Create new dessert menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef
- Ensure all pastry items are presented beautifully and in a timely manner
- Maintain inventory of baking supplies and equipment
- Train and supervise junior pastry staff
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Salary: $1400/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Utena, Lithuania (open to all nationalities)
