QA Engineer


As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software and systems before they are released to our clients. You will work closely with our development team to understand project requirements and develop test plans and strategies. Your main tasks will include designing, executing, and reporting on manual and automated tests, identifying and reporting defects, and providing suggestions for improvements. You must have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, be detail-oriented, and have excellent analytical skills. This is a contract position in Dickirch, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements
- Design test plans and strategies for new features and updates
- Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality
- Identify, document, and track defects found during testing
- Work with developers to reproduce issues and provide suggestions for improvements
- Communicate test results to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Continuously improve testing processes and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g. black box, white box)
- Experience with manual testing as well as automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python is preferred
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills
- Familiarity with agile development processes is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English
