We are in need of a skilled and reliable Part-Time Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboards in residential and commercial buildings. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting plasterboards to fit specific areas, applying joint compound to seal joints, and using various tools such as saws and drills.
To excel in this role, you should have previous experience working with plasterboards and possess strong attention to detail. A good understanding of building codes and safety standards is also essential. As a part-time worker, you will be expected to work on a flexible schedule that may include weekends or evenings.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboards to fit specific areas
- Install plasterboards on walls and ceilings
- Repair damaged or uneven surfaces with joint compound
- Apply tape, joint compound, and other materials to seal joints between plasterboards
- Use various tools such as saws, drills, and sanders to complete tasks
- Follow building codes and safety standards at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of plasterboards and their uses
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in different weather conditions if needed
- Available to work on a flexible schedule including weekends or evenings
Salary:
The salary for this part-time position will be 1600$ per month.
