Cashier - Indian Nationals

We are a fast-paced retail store looking for an efficient and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As an Indian National, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our customers while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. Prior experience as a Cashier is preferred but not required. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Scan items accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Process payments by cash, credit, or debit card
- Ensure correct change is given back to customers
- Count money in the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries about products, prices, and promotions
- Offer additional sales opportunities such as loyalty programs or store credit cards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of local languages is an advantage)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards resolving issues
