Instrument Technician
We are currently hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of instruments and equipment used in the production process.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, calibrate and repair various instruments and equipment used in the production process
- Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues with instruments and equipment
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities and report any abnormalities or malfunctions to the supervisor
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times
- Train new technicians on instrument maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to troubleshoot complex issues
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, level sensors, etc.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1700 per month.
